You and ZombieCo and some people in the UK all normally connect through Junction A and other people, like myself, normally connect through Junction B. Think of it like this, the EVE servers are the endpoint and is serviced by two junctions. Once EVE Launcher loads, it will show the current server at the bottom right: Click the down arrow to the right of where it says Tranquility, and you will have a drop down server list: Select Singularity, the server name at the bottom right should now have changed.

They don’t have to have the same ISP for the same problem to be affecting them. It has happened before that a router or a server that the traffic from seemingly random places all passed through on its way to and from the EVE login servers has gone down and relatively small number of people (compared against the 27,000 players logged in right now) have been unable to login.Ĭaveat: Everything past this is how I understand the internet to work. It's happening to more people on the internet, check Reddit. You can get in contact with your ISP and see if they know of an issue or you can try contacting EVE's support (probably from another internet connection if yours won't reach them): If that doesn't work it's likely an ISP thing.
#Eve online server down Offline#
All EVE Online servers go offline from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM EVE Time, which follows the UTC. Unless something has changed while I wasn't looking, which is entirely possible, the account management and game use the same login server. Mostly, the bean-counters now get shouted down by the devs. So, something else to try is see if you can log into your account management through the EVE website. I also checked and there's nothing wrong with the EVE servers from my end. Some general troubleshooting that can be done to successfully connect to our server: Resetting the router and making sure that its firmware (drivers) is up to date. That happened to me a few years ago, that I could seemingly connect to everything but EVE and it turned out my ISP had a router or something go down - they tried to explain it and I didn't really understand. However, that doesn't change the fact the problem could be further down the line somewhere, some issue that is between your ISP itself and the data center where EVE's servers are. Originally posted by Awpii:I honestly don't think that not being able to connec to one single site/Server is a router issue, however, just for you, I checked, everything's working fine (otherwise I would not be able to be writing / reading this).
